Our plans are to visit Colonia for a day, then head down to Montevideo for a week or so. We are then considering a trip out to Punta del Este, then a trip up to Iguazu Falls...

Many beautiful hand-spun, hand-dyed yarns are produced by women's co-ops in Uruguay and sold in the U.S., where they are very popular (with those of us who buy such things). There endeth my knowledge of Uruguay. I will now continue to read your blog to expand my knowledge of the country.
