Uruguay is not known as much as Argentina for its football, but their fans are just as enthousiastic. In fact, "Uruguay were the first winners and hosts of the World Cup, beating Argentina 4-2 in 1930. " The 1930 game was played in the same stadium as the game we saw on Sunday. Abil, Titita, Andrew and I saw Club Nacional de Football lose 1-4 to Defensor Sporting Club, although we were on Nacional's home turf.
